Just for sharing... As the WebServant for the Master of this site, I asked the Pastor of this church... "where did the name for the church come from? Is it Aztec in origin? She said no... it is from the Bible! Mark 5:41 says: "He (Jesus) took her by the hand and said to her, "Talitha kum!" (which means, "Little girl, I say to you, get up!"). The little girl had just died and Jesus raised her from the dead.

Information: In September 2005, we purchased 150 square meters of land at APV Sol de America, Lote H-7. We have 8 confirmed members and 35 children (boys and girls) in Sunday School. We meet:

  • Sunday Worship Service - 8:00 am
  • Wednesday - Bible Study then worship with prayer - 3:00 pm
  • Friday - Meeting of the group of women that work in the kitchen - 3:00 pm
  • Saturday -
    • First Communion Classes for children (9 years and older) - 8:00 am
    • First Communion Classes for youth (14 years and older) - 9:30 am to 11:00 am
    • We buy what is needed from the food market items for the kitchen
  • Our kitchen operations from Monday to Friday - 11:00 am to 2:30 pm

Once a month, starting in August, we coordinate discussions with the Institure of Defense relating to the problem of family violence. The discussion topics attempt to make the people of APV Sol de America more aware and diminish the problem of violence. As the only church in the Association of Pro Life we are committed to involving ourselves together with the state institutions in reducing violence.

Informacion: Tenemos un terreno de 150 metros cuadrados comprado en el APV Sol de América Lote H-7 en Septiembre del 2005. Tenemos 08 miembros confirmados y 35 niños y niñas en Escuela Dominical.

  • Servicio Dominical Culto 8.00 a.m.
  • Miércoles : Estudio Biblico 3.00 p.m. y cultos de oración
  • Viernes : Reunión del Grupo de mujeres del Comedor T.K. 3.00 p.m.
  • Sábado :
    • Clases para niños y niñas de Primera Comunión 8-00 a-m. ( edad de 09 años en adelante)
    • Clases de Confirmación hora 9.30 -11.00 a.m. (edad de 14 años en adelante).

Nuestro servicio de comedor funciona de Lunes a Viernes de 11.00 - 2.30 p.m. Todos los Sábados se hacen las compras del mercado: Cada señora compra de acuerdo al cronograma y actividades, programadas mensualmente.

Una Vez al mes a partir de Agosto coordinamos Charlas con el Instituto de Defensoria por el problema de Violencia familiar. Los temas tratan de sensibilizar a las personas del APV Sol de América a disminuir este problema de violencia, como única Iglesia en Esta Asociacion Pro Vivienda tenemos compromiso de involucrarnos y juntos con las instituciones del estado ver la disminución de la violencia.
