Pastor Davila was ordained 30 December 2001. Ofelia came to the Lutheran church through the outreach ministry of the congregation of Filadelfia. She was active on the pastoral team for many years and also worked in the Lutheran Mission Office and helped to organize the knitting factory. After five and a half years of study in seminary in Brazil, where she was chosen to be the representative of the foreign students to the administration for several years, she received her Bachelor of Theology. She carried out her internship in the Emanuel congregation under the tutelage of Pastor Patricia Cuyatti. On 05 January of 2002, she was sent as a missionary to Cusco. There she organized the Community of Faith called "Talitha Kum" in APV Sol de America - San Sabastian - Cusco.
