When was a child I was very impressed by the missionaries who told the stories in our sunday school. It became a dream and strong wish in me to go myself to those places where they were talking about. Strange countries, the mystery of the jungle all that were fascinating to me. And here I am living in Peru as a ordained Pastor working with the ILEP.
In my 20 years of working an living in this fascinating country I've learned a lot about the culture and how a small church gets started. Now, the students I trained in the seminary and as interns are ordained Pastors themselves and the leaders of the church. In the last years I have worked in the mission department of ILEP. We started the communities in Cusco, Iquitos and Huancayo. Last year I decided to go to Huancayo in order to found a congregation there.
I have the following responsibilities:
- in charge of the Lutheran community in Huancayo
- teach in the theological Institute San Pablo
- counselor in the new church council
