Pastora Ponce is ILEP's Coordinator of Women's Ministry. Irene trained and worked as an executive secretary while volunteering in children's and youth ministry in her home congregation of Belén in urban Lima. For many years she studied theology in various institutions in Lima while continuing her participation with the pastoral team at Belén. She carried out research for her thesis in Costa Rica and El Salvador before graduating from the CBT. She has been involved in women's ministry and theology for many years both locally and regionally. Pastor of her home congregation, she is single, once married, and closely involved with her 11 siblings and their families.
